Extracurricular Activities

It's only fair to share...Share on FacebookShare on Google+Tweet about this on TwitterShare on LinkedIn

Our free extracurricular classes will run each week on Thursday from 2016. Each class will be led by a current CU Physics undergraduate, postgraduate or academic and will be aimed at undergraduates from 1st year to 4th year. Content will be taught at an introductory level with a minimum of prerequisites.

Each class will be along the lines of an informal short lecture, followed by problem-solving time, and finished by a group discussion or a demonstration of an application of the topic. But this can vary depending on the teacher’s preference.

This page will be kept up-to-date, so check back for updates.

Would you like to teach at the Physics Society…?

We are always happy to hear from enthusiastic undergraduate, postgraduate or academic teachers. But their availabilities may change.

If you’re interested in teaching a class, please email us at cups@cu.ac.bd

We would suggest that classes should be pitched at 2nd year level. That way, enthusiastic 1st years can give them a shot… For undergraduates short of teaching experience,We are willing to help you develop a good class.
